Dear Friends and Critics,

        If there was ever a group of individuals in need of redemption it's us, today's Prodigal Sons and Daughters.  I guarantee, you will have no problem finding fault in us.  We confess it, we are the worst of the worst, but still, we are your children, the children of America and the world.  Since we aren't going anywhere and don't have a home other than the one prepared by you, what will become of us if you reject us and our intentions to fix that which we've broken?

       What would have happened to the Bible Prodigal Son had his Father rejected him? He had no home of his own.

       What must we do to be accepted? Because his repentance was welcomed on his return, he was given the necessities of life; food, clothing, shelter and everything needed to make his experience an asset to the house he strayed from.

       Why shouldn't America and the world benefit from the experience of it's repentent sons and daughters since they have sacrificed and suffered for them? 

       You have sent us to prison and we have done our time, but still, this has not solved the problem.

       We are determined to meet society half way at giving us a second chance. We believe the example of prisoner re-entry success can be far greater.

       Through sincere and consistent examples of what can be done with former offenders and other social deviants, we have been blessed to earn the praise and support of society's best. We thank them every day and shall continue to strive to overcome our past misdeeds.

       We believe everyone will support us once our intentions become clear.

The Prodigal Sons and Daughters were lost, but look at them now, they are found!

Mrs. Sarah Slack and the Slack Family have been avid supporters of PSD since 2006. Sarah has tirelessly helped to gain recognition and increase support in a vast array of social arenas that have contributed greatly to the growth and prosperity of the organization. In keeping with the philosophy of Self Help she continues to move forward seeking the means to increase opportunities for business development.  

Hope Americo Tinsley, affectionately known as "Mom" has been a long time supporter of PSD and instrumental in every aspect of Prodigals success contributing to the look, appeal and development of PSD's representation. She was it's very first board member and financial backer. Her family has supported our success for many years.

We cannot get out of our past. So, if you're looking for flaws you can sure enough find them.

Prodigal Sons and Daughters have rubbed shoulders with some of the worst criminals on the planet.  We have a masters degree at going against the norm. Nevertheless, this experience qualifies us with certain knowledge, experience and instincts that put to good use is as valuable a tool as any other necessary craft.

There are many that want to change their lives for the better and recreate themselves, but society has not responded swiftly enough to the claim to judge fairly their intentions.

Naturally, if your value depends on what others think of you you probably won't amount to much, and we're convinced that the purest thereputic response is a crash course towards reclaiming your proper position in society as family member and contributing/law abiding citizen.

This is not without trial and error. Being the unconventional scientist of survival often means being discriminated against, misunderstood and oh yes, underestimated.

Oftentimes this means pulling off the impossible with the essentials. What we lack in resources and formal education we make up in natural and sometimes spiritual abilities beyond common or scientific explanation.
